What is Camporee? Join hundreds of other Girl Scouts from around the council for a five day camping celebration of the 45 years of Shawnee Council! This will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our theme is Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. Each day will be filled with activities from one of these eras. Girls will have the opportunity to explore camp in a whole new way. We will, of course, have all of the camp favorites: swimming, hiking, canoeing, ropes course, campfires. But we will have so much more . . . including a rockwall!

When is it? June 26-30, 2008 or July 17-21, 2008

Where is it? Our own Camp White Rock, just off Route 50 in Capon Bridge, WV.

Who can come? The Camporee is open to both troops and individual girls throughout Shawnee Council and beyond. Alumnae and all Girl Scout supporters are welcome, too!

How Much Is It? $150 per girl, with an early bird discount of $25 if regestered by April 15th, 2008.

Need More Information? For more information, call the Council office at 888.263.8834. Or join us for the Camp White Rock Open House on Sunday, May 4th.
